What We Are About

Our Desire is to see those who know Christ, grow and be equipped for the work of ministry to the world around them and to see those who do not know Christ, to come to know Him as their Savior.

Our Mission is to do all things for God’s glory.

Our Ministry Priorities

Bible Teaching and Equipping

We believe that the church’s responsibility is to build up God’s people in their Biblical understanding and the living out of those principles.

"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ". (Ephesians 4:11-13 NASB)

This is done through systematic teaching and through the living out of an exemplary, transparent Godly life in humility and compassion. We see this over and over again with Christ’s ministry. One such instance is found in Matthew 14 where Jesus desired to be alone to grieve over the death of John the Baptist, however because the people were following him he had to set his agenda aside and minister to them.

"When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick". (Matthew 14:14 NASB)

God Exalting Worship

We believe that we are to worship God “in Spirit and in Truth,”

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24 NASB)]

through our lives as we come together corporately in the church and on an individual day by day basis.

"Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name." (Hebrews 13:15 NASB)

Loving Encouragement

Our desire is to care for God’s people through loving service which, we believe, will serve as a model to them how they should encourage others.

"For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." (Galatians 5:13 NASB)

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:23-25 NASB)

Local Evangelism and World Missions

Christ gave the mandate to make, baptize and teach disciples. Because Christ said it we must do it.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NASB)

Christ also told us where we were to make and teach disciples. His mandate was to make disciples of all nations. We believe that we must evangelize the world around us and support those who go out to the “remotest parts of the earth”.

"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" (Mark 16:15 NASB)

"...but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." (Acts 1:8 NASB)
